It is important for us to have a television set. It is not luxurious thing at present. Almost every family owns it because it has great function. A television set is a toot for receiving television broadcasts. Through this tool, we can get pleasure. We can watch music programme and film without going to entertainment centre or cinema. We can enjoy at home. We can also get knowledge because it presents education program and news.
There are some TV stations, The firts station in Indonesia is TVRI our goverment TV station. The other stations are TPI, RCTI, SCTV, ANTV, INDOSIAR and so on. The are private TV station. Every station always show interesting programmes. We just choose the best programme to watch.
Some years ago we only watched TV only night. But nowdays we can enjoy it from morning until night or sometime dawn. Beside usually programmes, some stations often cover live programmes such as boxing, footbal match, or live music. They are even ready to watch the match at midnight.
